Katie McIntosh
PhD Candidate
McGill University
Katie is a researcher in organisational behaviour whose work centres on frontline workers in low-resource settings. She explores how social context and management practices shape individual behaviour, and how these behaviours contribute to broader organisational outcomes.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Katie spent over a decade working across education, health, and economic development sectors in low- and middle-income countries. She advised on evidence-based policy making, managed large policy research programs, and led large-scale data collection projects. Her clients have included the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the World Bank, and the International Food Policy Research Institute.
Currently a PhD Student at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, Katie holds an MPA International Development from the LSE and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
