Luisa Blanco

Luisa Blanco is a Professor at Pepperdine University School of Public Policy. She is a development economist and leads community-based participatory research projects focused on fostering economic inclusion and improving health outcomes. She is a co-Director of the Analysis Core of the Center for Health Innovation and Maximizing Eldercare at UCLA, a Research Associate of the G53 Network, NBER Research Affiliate, and J-PAL Invited Researcher. She was a fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Interdisciplinary Research Leadership program, a visiting scholar at the the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
