Apoorva Srikkanth

Initiative Manager

Apoorva Srikkanth is the Initiative Manager at IGL, where she leads a new global initiative to advance science commercialisation and industry-university collaboration. 

Prior to joining IGL, Apoorva was a Venture Partner at Zinc VC, supporting founders to build high-impact ventures, and led UKRI’s Healthy Ageing Accelerator, driving the commercialisation of ageing-related research from UK universities. She also served as a Technology Transfer Manager at UCL Business, as an Innovation Adviser for high-growth SMEs at Innovate UK London, and as an EU IP Helpdesk ambassador for the UK. 

Apoorva holds a Global MBA from Bologna Business School, an MSc in Entrepreneurship from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BE in Industrial Production engineering from Osmania University, India. She is certified in IP Management and Valuation by WIPO. 

Apoorva leverages her applied experience in technology transfer and innovation management to develop, test, and scale innovative evidence-based approaches that bridge academia and industry and maximise the societal impact of research.
