Developing policies to promote SME digital adoption: a rapid evidence review

This report is intended to support public officials in developing new policies to foster technology adoption by SMEs and encourage digital transformation. It presents results from a rapid evidence review to identify policy-relevant findings from experimental research into the effectiveness of different policy approaches. It also outlines other ideas that are currently being tested, the challenges that have been faced during implementation, and suggestions for how to approach policy development. The main objective of this report is to provide a basis for generating new ideas on how to design and deliver effective interventions.
