What we do

University research has the potential to solve global challenges, from climate change to health inequities.

We are bringing together a global alliance of policymakers, innovation leaders and researchers to apply experimentation, data and evidence to transform knowledge exchange and commercialisation. Our approach is unique: embedding experimentation in how the ecosystem works, integrating AI to complement human expertise, looking beyond just spinouts to all forms of knowledge exchange, and fostering a global community so insights aren’t siloed.

Our approach

Our approach is experimental and evidence-driven.

We take a ‘Test & Learn’ approach, using small-scale pilots to test the feasibility and effectiveness of different interventions before deciding which ones to scale. We use this to trial new interventions, compare different versions of existing programmes, or test small-scale operational tweaks to activities and processes.

We work with you to embed experimentation in your organisation, co-create new ideas to tackle systemic challenges, and deploy AI and data solutions that strengthen the wider ecosystem.

Enabling and Supporting Experimentation

We build your capability to work in a more agile, experimental and evidence-informed way. Through programmatic, hands-on support, we help you develop a theory of change and success metrics for your interventions, and design and run your own experiments from testing new programmes to refining existing ones.

Co-Creating New Interventions to Test

We take a top-down view of the ecosystem to spot the systemic challenges that impact many but are yet to be solved. We play an active role: convening stakeholders, co-creating new interventions from programmes to AI tools, testing and learning what works, and sharing insights across the ecosystem.

Deploying AI and Data Solutions

We undertake data and AI projects tailored to your needs, from data analysis to prototyping novel tools. We help you build the infrastructure to embed data and AI in knowledge exchange, and develop frameworks and tools addressing gaps in how the ecosystem measures, analyses and acts.
