The Barcelona School of Economics is a community of researchers, professors, graduate students, and alumni in economics, statistics and social sciences founded in 2006. Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) ranks BSE as the first Spanish economic institution, one of the top 5 economics departments in Europe and Top 10 economics department in the world as of June 2022. In 2020 IGL established a research partnership with BSE to foster scientific cooperation among the BSE research community and the IGL team from an office in Barcelona.
